Anti-bullying program presented at MCA

Issac Darrup, right, sixth-grade student participated in a “Box out Bullying” program presented to students from pre-K to sixth grade at Mount Carmel Area Elementary School. Box out Productions, LLC presented the interactive, educational and theatrical bullying prevention assembly. Lower and upper elementary versions were presented. “The show was hands-on and well received,” said Amanda Stepenaskie, bully prevention program coordinator for the school district. “It clearly got the message of bullying prevention across.”
