Box Out Bullying Program Stops at Local School
PECKVILLE, LACKAWANNA COUNTY — Hundreds of kids learned the dangers of bullying Monday afternoon.
Eyewitness News stopped by the Valley View Elementary School where a program called “box out bullying” took place.

Students from kindergarten to third grade took part in the program. The kids learned to tell school officials if they’re being bullied or they see someone being bullied.
Jeremy Rubenstein of Box Out Productions said, “It’s not just young people. We try to create change in the community between parents, community members, everyone…..especially when talking about bullying prevention.”
Statistics show that 160,000 students across the country skip school because of bullying
